02/05/2025Tina Parnell Honored at BSAVA for Excellence in Veterinary Nursing Education
The prestigious 2025 BSAVA Bruce Vivash Jones Veterinary Nurse Award was recently presented to Tina Parnell for her tireless work in advancing veterinary nursing education and accreditation standards. Tina Parnell RVN received the 2025 award at the recent BSAVA Congress in Manchester. It was awarded to her ‘in recognition of her dedication and determination to provide excellent veterinary nursing education’, according to the BSAVA website. ‘Tina has undertaken her own further education to enhance her teaching skills and has driven forward the improvement of the veterinary nurse education experience through numerous channels.’ She is a lecturer in veterinary nursing at the Atlantic Technological University. Tina is also an accreditor of ACOVENE. Read more about her in this interview.
Dr. Krista Arnold MRCVS, ACOVENE board member, commented ‘this award is hugely deserved. Tina has worked tirelessly to advance the quality of veterinary nursing education.’
